Does your iMac have a CD-burner? Ejection is the normal behaviour of a CD-ROM-only drive when blank writable media is inserted.

Please note, this is not a complaint! The advertisements in the sidebars were distracting, it's nice to only see the top banner now, go right to the stories. :)
iCab 2.82 for OSX.
Version 2.82 seems to be one of the last decent versions of iCab. I downloaded the latest version a little while back (2.97) and iCab has suddenly gotten a lot slower. It does seem to render pages better than past versions and it has tabs now, along with a search box like Safari. But it was just too slow for me.
But I was using the Classic OS version on a 7300/200. Maybe the OSX version is much better, since Claus keeps talking about how much faster the new versions are.
iCab 3 (if it ever arrives) is supposed to support CSS2. I was wondering if Macrumors rendered better under iCab in the new design since it's so "standards compliant" now, but hadn't had a chance to try it.

Do you know what a tetherball is?
What's the difference between a tetherball and a ball? A cord\cable\string.
Tethered = when you reboot it has to be connected to your PC
Untethered = when you reboot it doesn't have to be.
You should google the question next time, don't be lazy.
Calm down.

After years of abandonment finally someone at Apple said, 'oh crap yeah what's this Logic thing we have? We should probably put some resources on that.'
That's pretty funny, except...
Logic 9 was released in July of 2009 (8 months ago), and
Logic 9.1 was released in January of this year (2 months ago).
lol

From the arstechnica site:
PPC Checker v 2.61 reports the DP 867 CPU as:
PowerPC 7455
(Apollo 6, rev2.1)
SOI G4 plus
PVR=0x80010201
While the 1.25 ghz comes up as:
PowerPC 7455
(Apollo 6)
Unknown Rev
PVR=0x80010302
Quite interesting. Anyone know if this 7455 revision has DDR signaling?

i'd love to know what sentence he wrote with the word "mutter".
and what sentence would make a guy go berserk with a word "nutter" in it.
i can imagine, the sentence would not make a lot of sense.

I still wow about my cube even though I sold it over a month ago. wow it was a cool computer.
My new ibook is great as well, and technically more useful than the cube, but it doesn't really have the wow that the cube had.

The terms "high end," "built in," and "5.1 mic" are mutually exclusive.
A mic cannot be high end and built in.
5.1 is a mix of multiple channels that ideally you would record with multiple mics.
The advertised 5.1 mic is more a marketing gimmick than anything else.

Personally, I would say,If you want to design a new Mac Website, just do it !
I have my own websites and do it for the fun of doing it.
I don't think you can oversaturate the Mac market. If people like your new site then they will come back, start small and personal and you should get some visitors.
Have a think of what interests you and work from that, I personally use my experience from working with Mac's for so long; and so one of my sites is a help forum: you can put up what ever you want that's the fun bit, if you don't like it or get no visitors you can always change it.
Let us know how you get on.
Regards
Ric

Hello there!
I set up a mac mini server for my little company a few months ago and I find it to be overkill for the simple tasks I use it for. Originally I planned to setup a web hosting service, an email server and a wiki but our needs didn't grow as I expected and we found simpler alternatives.
Anyway, I am now thinking about selling it but I was wondering if it was simple to transfer the Mac OS X Server license. I can't seem to find info online on how to do this and I don't want to sell a product which won't easily be usable.
Any tips on doing this?
Thanks!

Basically there isn't enough margin in the low end for Apple to sell there -- it's basically a loss-leader and/or break even (if they're lucky) product for the likes of a lot of other companies.
actually, the emacs for education (seeing as my dad is a teacher) are 750$ for a baseline emac. the 600$ ones are only for mass purchases for educational facilities

A HyperMac MB060 would also work. Probably cheaper too.
I can get a HyperMac MBP150 for 200 (second hand).
Which is about the same price as an extra removable battery + charging station.
Which option would you recommend & why?
