Is there a workaround/fix that does not involve Coolbook?

I've taken excellent care of this iPhone for the past 5 months. There's nothing wrong with it internally or externally, and all the original parts and packaging are included.
I'm not familiar with how the switch-out process happens. Do I need to get my new phone before sending out the old one, so that I can swap sims? Or do I just need to plug in my new phone to iTunes and tell it to transfer the AT&T account over to it, and it'll disable the old one? How does it work?
I'm looking to get $350 for it.
Thanks

I was in a phone with one of the Specialist in the Apple Store and he said there will be no iPad 2s today coming in. I was just calling them to swap my iPad 2. Genius agreed to swap me with the new iPad 2 after my iPad fails.
Just wanting to make sure whether they really dont have stock or maybe the stock is not yet coming in. I phoned about 10 am this morning. Anyone been there today and can clarify me?
Thanks a lot

And to download a stream you need Quicktime pro I think, I have never used my copy so if you need my copy PM me.
I can transfer ownership to you.
edit: before you even posted this I had this on my hard drive, it ROCKS! :D

Well... you could just go into photoshop.... and use the Paint Bucket tool to make your own color... save a jpeg.. and drag to make it your desktop. What color are you looking for?

Thanks for the replies. I could probably do this and create little swatches but I was hoping there was some button I could push or something I could do to make it bring up a color palate so I could just choose any color at a moment of whimsey. Seems strange that the OS would limit you do doing such a simple thing.

Do you know by any chance on how swapping sims work withe official unlock? Do you have to connect to iTunes every time and new sim is inserted or can you just swap sims on the fly?

Are Dropbox items accessible from a browser?
Yes, there are. Dropbox has a public folder that allows files to be accessed and downloaded by anyone.

Group,
In my opinion the Classic are is listed incorrectly in regards to categories and lists. While the data is mostly all correct, we have most of the early Macintosh models listed under "Macintosh (Original series)" and a separate section with Performa and Workgroup servers.
In my opinion if we separate the Performa series and Workgroup servers, we should also separate the rest of the group. In most cases when someone states "Original Macintosh" in the collector discussions that would most always only include the compact Macintosh models like the 128, 512, plus, and perhaps SE, Classic, and Color Classic models.
I seriously think we should move these "other" categories up one level and list them as follows to make it more clear, and concise.
Example
68K Desktops
Macintosh (Original series)
Inside this link would list...
128k
512k
ETC..etc..etc..
Macintosh II Series
inside this link would list...
II
IIx
ETC..etc..etc..
Macintosh LC series
inside this link would list...
LC
LCII
ETC..etc..etc..
Macintosh Performa Series
Macintosh Workgroup Servers
I think you get the point of were I am going with this. My only point for bringing this up, is due to the fact that we are getting lots of categories with nested sub categories. We should first create a hierarchical listing that is flat, and nest within that detailed information containing the specific models within the noted series.

Thanks for the link!
I took it to an Apple store today and they diagnosed it as the graphics card failure. They are replacing the MLB for free (would be a $863 repair otherwise..ouch.)
Knightrider, I suggest you do the same thing! It was a pretty quick diagnosis and I should have it back within 3-5 days.
Yup I literally took it to the Apple store immediately after I posted last and it was the logic board. It was two months out of warranty, but they are doing it for free anyway.
Four days later, the status finally went from "Pending - Preparing to Ship" to "On Hold - Part on Order". Have you received yours back, yet?

Maybe sell the parts (SSD an MBP) separately.
Mac2Sell (http://www.mac2sell.net), Gazelle (http://www.gazelle.com) or eBay (Việt Nam (http://chodientu.vn/ebay), Trkiye (http://www.gittigidiyor.com/), Česk republika (http://www.eim.ebay.cz/), Hanguk (http://www.auction.co.kr/default.html)) might be good price checkers.

i personally believe the MB Air isn't a mainstream laptop, it is a laptop light. I need a CD/DVD and BD optical drive.
apple wont sell it to me, wants to shift people to its ecosystem. ie. get rid of optical drives, to force more people to buy content and software from apple owned stores. ie itunes and app store. So the Air is proof of Apple's future vision possibly. not really mine. yes its light, easy to carry. great! but for those of us who dont mind 5-6 pounds, give us optical drives and Blu-Ray!
sorry... i like a NON-CLOSED ecosystem. I am not a mindless drone. i like options.
i am starting to like the idea of windows more.

The new Little Brother album is worth checking out...
MF Doom is a genius...
A Long Hot Summer was one of the best albums from last year no doubt...
Midnight Marauders is my third favourite album of all time (after Illmatic and The Infamous)

Could you describe what values you're trying to teach children by designing an old fashioned newspaper?
Why not try to develop a new kind of newspaper or service?
You're not going to print it out on an old-fashioned press after all.
So what's the point you're trying to make?

How about plug the ethernet straight into the iMac?
Seems really odd that both the TC and Express would have this problem at exactly the same time.
Maybe give Apple a call.
