The 750 HD option is on the Mac Pro as well as the 24" iMac. If I didn't know any better, I'd say they changed the layout on several of their store pages too.
They changed some of the prices slightly (at least the academic versions). But what I can't figure out is that I configured a MacPro changing to 2 gig ram, bluetooth and wifi, wireless keyboard and mouse and somehow saved $2. what an odd amount.
cheers.

According to the info in iTunes the 4.3.3 update file has exactly the same size as 4.3.2 had: 666.2 MB for my iPhone 4.
And the same goes for the iPad 2: 614.8 MB. For the iPad 1 there is a slight difference: 4.3.3: 593.4 MB; 4.3.2 was: 593.3 MB.
BTW: The update was very quick (less than 20 min) for my iPhone 4 and everything seems to work fine: Safari, an App Store update for an app (AutoStitch Panorama) and a technically demanding game (Real Racing 2). Same goes for iPad 1 + 2 (less than 15 min for the complete update process incl. download).

Tait strikes!
I still think we was a waste in the team and MacGill would have been better used. But he's done well.
Okay, one of the Aussie commentators here has just stated "Australia should win this match". Hmm... tough call.
Back to Channel 4 broadcast....... (for those who didn't know and cared, in Australia we get the Channel 4 broadcast but then Aussie players Dean Jones and Greg Matthews in a studio during the breaks)

I just spoke with Apple Support because I was worried that an order place today (with the 3-4 week lead-time) would ship before my order which I placed last week when the lead-time was 4 - 5 weeks.
I was told that I shouldn't cancel my order placed last week because it will ship before orders placed after it.
Yay!! I look forward to getting my iPad sooner.:apple::D
I mean... who writes this stuff?

Put me down in the, "I'll believe it when I see it" crowd. Getting decent battery life out of anything with a 0.3W radio transmitter in it is difficult -- unless you don't use it to actually talk to anyone, or put in a large battery. "Ye cannae change the laws o' physics!" Or electrochemistry, for that matter. :D

Oh good! Finally! I used to enjoy drinking Budvar, Plzen, etc. and I wasn't thrilled when I moved to the US that Anheuser-Busch would be able to market the lemonade under the same brand. Cheers!
Hey! There's no need to sully the name of lemonade here!
Personally, I wouldn't serve Bud to my worst enemy.
I would. I think it would pair well with chili made out of his parents.
It tastes moldy and gross, and smells like dirty feet.
Having read this, I don't think I'll ever follow a food or beverage recommendation from you.
Unless it involves hot dogs.

True, but Portal 2 is released for both MacOSX and Windows. :|
:) I bought it for Windows as such. No question, Window's allows the BEST gaming experience...both in hardware support, and W7:DX11 > OSX:OpenGL
My real beef is that Apple doesnt compliment its wonderfully built machines with capable GPU's. I mean, a 5750 as the best graphics option in the otherwise superb (might I add expensive) 27inch iMac? Total Fail. Im not looking for them to kick PWR consumption totally, but they could easily facilitate something as powerful as a 560ti or dare I say a 6850.

Walt Disney died and the company he built still strives to this day.
Sure and we had Eisener and WD was not exactly the magic as it once was. It should have been the Pixar of the 21st century.

All true, but this is just vested self-interest. All countries are in it for themselves.
Besides, the U.S. loves having an Israel in the Middle East.
Keeps the oil barons on their toes.
The oil barons don't need to be kept on their toes, most of them are already bought and paid for by the US. Those monarchs and dictators you see ruling countries like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are all bought and paid for.

Nice! I saw a Slightly Stoopid concert when they were up at one of the casinos here in Shreveport, Louisiana.
They are hitting up a few places in Texas soon. Might want to check it out.

hoping they upgrade the rest of the suite. I've got Studio 2 since I got it with an EDU discount and couldn't upgrade it, but I love having it in the same program set from start to finish; everything from Motion to FCP to color to DVD Studio Pro and compressor. I use it all as part of my workflow. it would suck to upgrade only one component and leave the rest sitting dusty on the shelf.
Everything I have read about the NAB event was that it was strictly about FCP and nothing else. Just because the dont talk about the rest of the suite doesnt mean anything one way or the other. Apple specifically said to Jim Dalrimple of the Loop insight that they were focusing on FCP in this event. Just focusing on one product at a specific event isnt meant to imply anything about other products that they dont talk about. It was a sneak peek even from Apples perspective and not even a formal announcement like what Apple would talk about at their WWDC keynote or the annual iPod/iPhone announcements.

imho they have to release the iphone 5 in the summer, cuz many contracts will ending at this time.
My guess is that Apple will do whatever they damned well please and if that means delaying a handset launch by several months, they will do so and that their carrier partners will offer some sort of grace period or move their customers to month-to-month to avoid churn.
People purchase iPhones all year long and the two-year subscription cycle is not a worldwide requirement. It depends on the individual carrier:

Are people as outraged by this leak as I am? I can't believe it. He just stole Steve's thunder at a later secret event. This will end up costing Apple the element of surprise and the impact of a special Steve announcement. We've got to punish Lion's Gate somehow. We need to boycott all of their films and show that they cannot mess with Apple. The mothership is under attack! Who's with me?
If this is tongue-in-cheek, which I can only assume it is, then it's one of the funniest comments I've read on MacRumors :D Brilliant :D
If it's serious, then you have some serious issues :P

I've done some more tests at streaming over 3G to my iPhone. It looks like you can get pretty good quality over 3G if you compress a custom version of the recording using QuickTime (or some other tool external to EyeTV). Unfortunately, EyeTV does not offer any presets that will produce decent quality over 3G. Their standard 320x240 iPhone/iPod setting seems to encode files that are just over 1Mbps and that is too high for my upstream internet connection (the playback pauses about every 4 seconds when streaming over 3G).
However, if you start with a high-quality recording from EyeTV and then encode that file manually (I've used both the QuickTime Pro Player and MPEG Streamclip) then you can output an H.264 file at 320x240, 15fps, 300Kbps, 16KHz mono audio (24Kbps) and the image looks quite good over 3G. The playback is smooth (although at 15fps) and I've noticed no hiccups/pauses during playback to my iPhone.
Of course, you have to do this encoding manually, as there appears to be no preset or automatic method to encode at this quality from within EyeTV. The only cellular preset in EyeTV is 176x144 3GP at about 80Kbps and that looks pretty bad (it's watchable, but just barely).
However, if you have a fast upload on your internet service (greater than 1Mbps) then EyeTV's 320x240 preset should work fairly well (assuming that you've also got good 3G speeds).

I understand where you're coming from, but from what some other users are saying, the temperatures are actually the same. Someone mentioned that there was a bug with the CD processors that reported the temperatures incorrectly. So I guess this means your computer is running at the same temperature as before, but the reporting is now more accurate (as 10-20 degrees hotter). Unless, of course, people are noticing an increase in temperature by touch. That's a little different...
hmmm, this could be true. But, personally I've never bothered to look at my temperatures, so a firmware fix to fix this doesn't really affect me. Firmwares can be great, but also be wonky. So right now my machine is running how I want it to so taking that risk doesn't seem worth it for some "more accurate" temperature reporting.

Yes, the 11" is definitely an awesome notebook.
I'm looking for a 'main machine'.
For the long hours I'm on a computer and the type of work I do the 13" is the sensible choice, you get a noticeable amount of added screen real estate which I appreciate.
