Why would they? The Intel models will run Windows anyhow. I don't think there would be much of a market for this product since the move to Intel is complete.

Actually, according to that article it looks like MS bought their last viable product and they then de-established the company. A technicality, but different than being bought by MS.
FWIW I corrected my earlier statement in Post #29 (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=2693362&postcount=29).
Something about these pics of Ballmer make me want to get up and shout "Developers! Developers! Developers!"

There are only two name choices for the next iPhone: iPhone 4G or iPhone 5. There will be no more naming games. The only reason they ever diverted from numbering conventions was because of confusion over the 3G being the iPhone 2.
The iPad 2 was a minor update. But they didn't call it the iPad s or something else equally lame. Every iPhone will have a number until Apple gives up on that completely and just goes with "the all new iPhone" or "the all new 2011 iPhone" like they do with their desktops and notebooks.

For the same reasons, these people are also more charitable (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=628006) than liberals. Conservatives and religious people are far more charitable to both religious and secular causes as a percentage of their income.
You seem to have a strange idea of why the rich give to "charity" see here for instance:
http://articles.latimes.com/2007/oct/01/opinion/oe-reich1
and don't forget the words of that great American President Richard Milhous (tricky dicky) Nixon:
"Let us remember that the main purpose of American aid is not to help other nations but to help ourselves".
(this applies as much to domestic as international "aid" )

I've got T-Mobile, have had them since I got my old Sidekick II. I now have the Sidekick 3. I love the Sidekick but I was disappointed with the Bluetooth support in Sidekick 3. Doesn't let you sync with Address Book. Nor do they allow you to "hop on" to the EDGE network via Bluetooth to your BT-enabled Mac.
I'm hoping they do a firmware update to change this along with iSync support for Sidekick and PPP over BT. That'd be awesome.
T-Mobile is the only real provider that makes sense for deaf people, since they have plans that do unlimited text and data for only $30 a month, without voice plan.

If it was any other store I would say no but Apple are famously accommodating (and probably more so if you've just spent thousands on a Mac Pro).
Then again, if you can afford said thousands, just buy the bluetooth keyboard separately and keep the wired as a spare!
I hope they are :)
That is not a bad idea.. but i'm planning to spend the left over $300 on some extra ram :D
If they aren't accommodating then i might just have to cancel my purchase ;)

Interesting, but how much, significatly or not? cos reviewers on youtube say that image quality does not decrease too much.
i can buy only senior(2.3ghz, 1gb video ram) mbpro 15" with matte screen, but it costs nearly 3600$ here.
base models(2ghz, 256mb video ram) with matte screens need to be ordered, waiting time is more than 1month, but only one company sells them, with which i dont work as dont have discount.

There are two models for the 15 inch, A1106 for the 15 inch lores and A1138 for the 15 inch hires. For the lores 230 is enough if bought on ebay. Hires gets a higher selling price.

you don't need to have cablevision subscription to use this? i.e. being a customer
You do have to have an account, therefor a customer is required. OR if you have friends/family and you could use their account.

Try %escape-coding your string (there is a method in NSString for doing this).

are you in the uk or ireland? it uses 220 power. I would not be able to comment on it I don't think it sells in usa we have 110/120 power.
I live in Italy, so no problems as we have 220 v power. What I was interested in is the quality of the device. At a first look it seems to me it is a firewire aluminium enclosure with a LG R/W optical drive inside (but I am not sure).
Best Regards

I never really understood resolution independence. Can someone explain it in layman's terms?
Visible objects stay the same size (in cm/inches) even though the display hardware would be better-than-in-the-90's -- this shouldn't be very hard to understand. Until now, object size has been measured in pixels, but Apple wants to give people the luxury of measuring objects in cm/inches just the same way we do in real life. If you buy a HD display, the apple in the apple menu stays the same size, it only looks sharper.
And the same goes to all UI objects, naturally.

With my car system, volume 18 with my iPhone maxed is equivelent to around 30 with my Nano - at this volume I have the sound of gentle hissing when paused. Not cool.
What kind of system are you connected to that the iPod volume even makes a difference? Mine connects to the truck's USB port and it's treated like a "line in" - the volume can only be adjusted with the stereo deck in the dash.

I have a video that i recorded back in October with my iPhone 4, but for some reason now it won't play. It says "The movie could not be opened. The file is not a movie file. I have tried a bunch of different corrupted video repair software programs....i got one to convert a little bit of it (you have to pay over $100 to get the full converted video.) While the video is a nice short little video, it isn't worth $100 to have it ...however, is there another way to fix these? i know it helps to have a video that is a reference video shot around the same time, which i do. if anyone has any suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it.
