That was easy! Thanks! I looked at some Belkin's, but not those models. Thanks again.
Don't forget to enter in "12345" as the code on the Belkin page in order to get those switches half off!

Our goal was to design the very very best MP3 player we could. To design something that could become an icon an and we'll see whether that is the case or not. - Jonathan Ive

Watching the iPod video almost brings tears to my eyes. Great job. Thanks for the links everyone.

these sell for 1800 new... they also come with a $300 ipod touch and a $100 printer. i would be willing to offer 1500, but i dont really think it is worth more than that.

The 30" requires a dualLink DVI connection, not mini DisplayPort, so forget ALL the adapters you've got there.
Basically all PCs these days have a dualLink DVI port, so no adapter required, it's just plug and play.

Hope Apple brings out next generation Air this year, with Lion, Thunderbolt, SandyBridge. This is the computer I'm looking for; light, easy, functional and a stable OS. Guess I'd choose a 256GB SSD to not worry about space (at least for some years ahead). Hook it up at home with a decent monitor and you're good to go.
But I wouldn't be surprised if Apple waits again quite a long time and updates the Air in 2012 :( Their notebook-refresh-cycles have slowed down recently.
Did anyone hear about new TB-products since MBP refresh? I'm afraid the industry won't pick up this standard...

Wow! Nice find...good that it'll quieten those 'scratch and smudge' rumours (hopefully) :)

i haven't tried this yet, but if it's true, i'm basically the happiest person ever.
I just confirmed with my Beethoven Symphony 5 3rd to 4th movement gapless playback works. I had already ripped my CD as Apple lossless. I did not have to rerip it. The first time iTunes ran, it analyzed my music for gapless playback. Great!!

Well, let's say you are working on a Mac (bless you) and all your co-workers are using a PC. Suddenly, you have to work on the same documents (like a .doc, a .ppt or a .xls) Call it "incompatibility"...
I don't like MS but a lot of peoples (over 90%) still do...
Well, Pages can open and edit and save .doc files, and Keynote can do the same with .ppt files.
But formatting and the such can be an issue. NeoOffice/OpenOffice handles .doc and .ppt formatting better, from what I hear. I've never used OpenOffice extensively, so I wouldn't know.

What? The iPhone 3G was not a "Complete Redesign". Internally, it used the same CPU, RMA and chipset as did the iPhone 1. The only difference was the addition of a 3G radio and a plastic curved back; hardly a "Complete Redesign"
Oh I completely agree. You put a 2G and a 3G side by side and you can barely tell them apart.

Finder ≠ QuickTime Player.
Finder is for navigating your files, in order to copy files you don't need to open them. Can't you drag them via Finder from the CD onto the Desktop?

@lostngone Sorry, you are completely wrong. This is strictly IMEI based. Nothing like the gevey SIM at all.

I didn't hear about the attacks until I was driving to class. I thought it was a prank call (that station plays prank calls in the AM) and when I got to campus I bumped into an ex friend of mine-- she was laughing!  What a jerk, she said, "OMG like, these planes totally flew into the WTC buildings! HAH! Sucks to be stuck in there."
Every single teacher I had let the classes watch the news on TV (in Spanish class we watched the Spanish-language version of the news). Honestly, the severity of the attacks didn't hit me until one student in my class started sobbing hysterically when another bozo student said, "I'm so sick of watching this on tv, can't we do something else?"
It turned out that the student who was upset, her father worked right next to the WTC buildings and none of her extended family had gotten in contact w/ him yet. :(

I haven't found anything that works well for Windows. I would recommend that you give MacDrive a try or look a Paragon. Both are well maintained and if there is an issue have tools to help you repair the partition.

But that's not the only way of doing it. An alternative is to take an OS like Mac OS 9, remove some of the unnecessary stuff, upgrade the GUI a little, and have Java and maybe CarbonLib. Very low on the resource requirements, very efficient.
Did You just use OS 9 and efficient in the same sentence? Why not use System 7? I would like it and I know dpaanlka would love it.

I will let everyone know how it goes! BTW MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev Team is pretty sure we can stop apple from revoking the unlock using SAM. Plus the only way Apple can revoke an unlock is during the update/restore process.
